MONDAY NIGHT EXTREME (3.5.99)

The show started with a huge pyrotechnics show celebrating the official opening of Extreme Wrestling and the President and Owner, Eric Carroll welcoming everyone to the next generation in pro-wrestling. Cue the newly crowned Extreme World Heavyweight Champion, Jeremy Creed, accompanied by Jean B'stard. Creed started bad-mouthing everyone saying that judging from the previous pay per view tournament, there was no competition to look forward to. This prompted American Gladiator, the man Creed defeated in the tournament finals to come out and challneged him to a rematch later that night, and said things were going to be differnt now that he had time to heel. Creed agreed and the match was set!

ICEBERG VS. JACK FROST
The first match of the night pitted the two "icemen" of Extreme Wrestling against each other. Not satisfied with what happened at the WrestleWar International title battle royal, both men looked to settle the score. The match started with both men trading shots and takedowns, with Iceberg getting the upperhand sending Frost to the outside with a big drop kick. Not letting up, Iceberg took the fight to the floor and sent Frost crashing through the steele steps. Iceberg followed up with a big jumping roundhouse kick and tossed Frost into the ring and pinned him for a 2 count. Frost came back countering a clothesline into a DDT to get a 2 count. Frost then stomped away at Iceberg, following with a big forward-suplex before locking on a headlock. Iceberg countered into a back suplex bringing both men down. The referee started the ten count as both men got to their feet and started trading blows again. As this was going on, a man in a white suit with a cross tattooed across his forehead made his way to the ring, shaking hands and greeting fans while observing the action. Meanwhile, Jack Frost had the upperhand in the match and was about to go for his Frost Bite finisher but Iceberg broke it ducked a clothesline, and connected with the Big Chill superkick for the 1-2-3 and the win! As the referee raised Iceberg's hand in victory, the man in white jumped in the ring and locked on a cobra-clutch submission hold on Iceberg, then turned it into a back suplex dropping Iceberg on his head and knocking him out. The strange attacker then left the ring telling the ref he was sorry for his actions leaving the ref puzzled.
WINNER: ICEBERG

JAKE HAMMER VS. SKY HIGH
Next, the man preaching peace, love and understanding, Sky High, took on powerhouse Jake Hammer. This one didnt last very long as Hammer whipped Sky into the ropes as the bell sounded and lifted him into a guerilla press which he turned into a powerslam pin combonation for the win. Commentators said he called that move the Hammer Down, Jake then took the mic and announced an open challenge to any big man to a match to show just how strong he really is. The challenge went unanswered.
WINNER: JAKE HAMMER

TROY FEROCIOUS VS. MAN MOUNTAIN
Despite standing 6'7 and weighting 300 lbs, Troy was dwarfed by the near 600lbs Man Mountain. Using his slight speed advantage, Troy rocked the big man with big clothlines and drop kicks to try and take down the Mountain, but Mountain came back using his size and power to take control catching Troy off the ropes with a big belly to belly suplex. The Mountain followed with a huge leg drop and covered for a 2 count. He then tried a big elbow drop but Troy quickly moved and the big Mountain crashed on the mat. Troy took the advantage and stomped on the big man trying to keep him down. Troy then climbed the ropes and connected with a big flying clothesline off the top which took down the Big Mountain and Troy covered but only got a 2 count. Troy then made the mistake of trying his Ferocious Bomb on the 500 plus pounder. Mountain just back dropped him over but Troy tried a sunset-flip, which resulted in Mountain dropping his massive frame accross Troy's chest knocking the wind out of him and getting the 3 count for the win.
WINNER: MAN MOUNTAIN

HEAVY-D VS. SLAYER
In an unscheduled match, Heavy-D came out and challenged Slayer to a match, demanding he come out and fight him face to face instead of attacking him from behind like he did at WrestleWar. The crowd jumped to their feet as the mysterious man in black made his his entrance, unintimidated by the big man's threats. The two men stared off before Heavy-D started his assault with big shots that didnt seem to faze the big man. Slayer reversed an irish whip into the ropes and caught Heavy-D with a big boot to the face and then lifted the big man off his feet in an amazing display of power and slammed the big man. Slayer immidiately climb up the top rope and caught Heavy-D with a bulldog off the top, the same move he used at WrestleWar and pinned Heavy-D for the win without even taking his coat off!
As Slayer was leaving the ring, Raven came out with a microphone and started bad mouthing him, saying it was his fault he didn't qualify and win the world title at the pay per view and that soon he would settle the score. Slayer didn't show any reaction and just jumped the guardrail and left through the audience.
WINNER: SLAYER

AMERICAN GLADIATOR VS. JEREMY CREED with Jean B'Stard
EXTREME WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
Both men came out with something to prove in this match. The match went back and forth as both men traded holds including a huge powerbomb by Gladiator, which he followed with a big flying tackle from the top rope, but Jean distracted the ref from making the count. Gladiator then went after Jean, giving Creed a chance to rest and attack Gladiator from behind. Creed then tried for his Fisherman's Buster suplex, but Gladiator countered into his American Slam! Jean B'Stard immediately rushed the ring attacking Gladiator causing Creed to get disqualified but retain the title. Both men continued beating on Gladiator until The Edge came out from the audience and cleared the ring. The Edge left the ring while Gladiator was just getting to his feet as the show came to an end.
WINNER: AMERICAN GLADIATOR BY DISQUALIFICATION
